Nora Jane

Today I am excited to share some of my favorites from another sweet newborn session. Nora Jane was born the day before Mother’s Day (what a perfect gift for Emily!), and was such a sweet little soul to photograph. When I say that Nora slept for the entire session, I mean she SLEPT FOR THE ENTIRE SESSION. She was possible the most posey-moldable little baby that I have ever worked with. I have had plenty of angel babes sleep for the duration, but I haven’t had many that will be happily asleep on their back AND on their tummy – Nora was probably the first to allow any and every movement! Her parents and I were making all sorts of cooing noises throughout her session, because she kept looking cuter in every single outfit/wrap!

Emily’s parents were in town visiting during her newborn session, and I was so happy that we were able to plan it so that they could be included in a few portraits with their new granddaughter! I always love involving grandparents in newborn sessions, and think that its so sweet to capture the always proud parents of the proud new parents. The weather was perfect for Nora’s session, so we had to sneak outside for a few family portraits to finish off her perfect session. Here are so many of my favorites:
